All England players involved in training except one ahead of World Cup match against USA | CaughtOffside
All England players were involved in training ahead of their World Cup game against the USA, except for one.
With Harry Kane coming off injured against Iran and undergoing a scan during the week, England fans and Gareth Southgate were sweating over their captain’s condition.
Any injury sustained during the World Cup could be catastrophic, with games coming thick and fast and a minor niggle potentially putting a player out for the entire tournament.
However, with training on Thursday morning, England had no new injuries to deal with, with all players taking part except for James Maddison, who missed the game against Iran through injury.

Kyle Walker also missed the game against Iran, but it looks like he’s back in training now.
Maddison will be disappointed not to be involved with England so far after such an impressive season for Leicester.
However, with the likes of Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Mason Mount impressing, England shouldn’t be too concerned with only one player missing training ahead of their World Cup clash with the USA.
